FOR SECOND YEAR, MICHELIN GUIDE HONORS LOUISIANA’S WORLD-CLASS CULINARY SCENE The MICHELIN Guide in North America has awarded several Louisiana restaurants for their culinary excellence in the Southern region for the second consecutive year. The awardees were honored at a ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee, and marked the release of the second regional MICHLEIN Guide. The MICHELLIN Guide awards its coveted Stars to restaurants that deliver exceptional dining experiences. The Bib Gourmand distinction highlights restaurants providing great food at good value, while Recommended restaurants represent outstanding quality and consistency. Louisiana joined the MICHELSIN Guide partnership through Travel South USA, the largest regional tourism promotion organization in the nation, as part of a three-year initiative to promote the South’s culinary reputation globally.
